The team were supported by a number of internal promotions and key appointments. 5 UK Moxy Captains were made Cluster General Manager’s, whilst 30 new roles were created, keeping team motivation high and actively promoting internally.
Regional Director of UK Operations for the company, Wayne Androliakos, highlights what makes the company stand out amongst its competitor set; “Our portfolio continues to grow, specially the Moxy brand, which was unknown in the UK until Aberdeen opened in 2016. Moxy continues to make a name for itself as playful, design-led, tech-savvy and affordable with increased numbers of guests choosing the brand, validating that the formula works.”
Going forward, the next two years will mark a number of key hotel openings including Moxy Plymouth this Summer, where the hotel is an integral part of the regeneration project at Millbay. It will be the first large brand hotel to open there since 2016 with 200 bedrooms.
Androliakos continues to say; “The driver is to continue to push the boundaries of hotel expectations. We are perpetually pinpointing key cities and strategic destinations Europe wide where we can open hotels and build on our success to date.”
