Leading independent performance marketing agency, SINE Digital, known for its groundbreaking digital strategies for the West End and brands such as Tottenham Hotspur, Percival and Yamaha, is pleased to announce it has promoted Ben Bunce to the role of MD, after previously holding the role of Chief Strategy Director.
James Dale, who co-founded SINE Digital in 2017, will now step up to CEO of the newly-formed SINE Group, incorporating SINE Digital and newly launched companies Farlo, 5th Wall and SINE New York formed as a result of SINE Digital quadrupling in size during the pandemic. The wider group now provides an expanding offer from digital advertising agency through to web design and development and live entertainment marketing.
As James moves into a strategic group-level role, Ben Bunce will lead the growth acceleration of SINE Digital. Joining SINE Digital in April 2020 after six years at ATG (Ambassador Theatre Group), he led the digital and e-commerce function of the business and oversaw campaigns for international live entertainment brands such as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Disney’s The Lion King & Wicked as well as working within luxury and travel sectors. This experience puts him in a strong position to continue servicing SINE Digital clients in the live events space, as well as new and existing clients across sectors such as retail, travel, sport and FS.
Ben Bunce, Managing Director of SINE Digital said: “I am extremely honoured to become the Managing Director of SINE Digital. I have bought into James’ vision and ambition for the business since day one, so to be handed the baton to continue his great work and leadership is an opportunity of a lifetime. My goal is to continue growing SINE Digital with equal passion and determination to James. Investing in our people and company culture will remain a top priority, allowing us to continue being the best agency we can be, to disrupt as we have been and to make a difference for all our clients across industries. I am very excited about the future of SINE Group and believe this change in leadership will allow it to gain further momentum as we enter the next phase of the business.”
Prior to founding SINE Digital, James Dale worked as a musician and professional songwriter for Faber & Faber Publishing, as well as EMI Music. He has led groundbreaking digital strategies for leading West End producers such as Cameron Mackintosh, Colin Ingram, Sonia Friedman, Runaway Entertainment, Playful Productions, Michael McCabe and Nimax.
James Dale, CEO of SINE Group said: “SINE Digital primarily works in the theatre industry and yet we quadrupled in size during the pandemic without any external investment. We achieved this through our consistently bold approach to running a new business and our expansion from a digital advertising agency – SINE Digital – into a group of exciting new companies – SINE Group – is a continuation of this philosophy. I’m confident with Ben at the helm of SINE Digital it will not only continue to lead in the live events space but we’ll see further growth into other sectors, driving impactful and measurable growth for clients.”
